Want to work out without making any noise or ruckus that may disturb other condo residents? Here are five quiet exercises you can do in your at-home gym or workout area at One Marina Gardens.
Yoga
Performing yoga helps you get fit, become more flexible, and improve overall strength in your muscles while putting you in a state of calm. All you need is a yoga mat, relaxing music or nature sounds, salt lamps, candles or scents, and a quiet environment.
Squats
Performing any form of squats can help improve your lower body and jumping strength, from normal air squats to pistol squats where you stretch your arms, bend your leg down, and extend one leg straight in front. The best part is no equipment is needed to perform these squats, but if you do have equipment such as dumbbells, you can use it to add weight.
Planking
Where you put your arms similar to a pushup position or you can use your forearms then you place your toes down into the ground and get your back straight then you hold the plank position for as long as you can or optimally 30 or 60 seconds. This improves your core strength.
Push-ups
Push-ups target a lot of your upper body like the chest, triceps, shoulders, and also your back. It also targets part of your lower body. To do this exercise, get into a planking position then bend your elbows backward, get your chest lower to the ground, and then push your body back up.
Sit-ups
Sit-ups target your abs as you lift your body up when you’re in a position where you lay back and your knees are upward, then lift your torso toward your knees to improve your core. Combining this with push-ups and squats alone can turn into a workout session targeting almost your whole body.
