5 Tips for Proper Condo Etiquette
by ago0
Just moved and settled into your luxury condo? Here are some best practices to show your neighbors you have proper condo etiquette and seamlessly blend in the tight-knit community at River Green.
Say Hello and Greet Your Neighbors
Simply greeting your neighbors with a simple “Hi”, “Good morning”, or “How are you doing?” and even a friendly smile can establish rapport. Do so when you run into someone including the staff, in the hall, in the gym, or in the elevator, and anywhere else around your condo.
Be Considerate by Not Being Noisy
Condo spaces are closely built so it is expected to hear some noise from the other units, so be considerate with your neighbors. Do not blast any loud music, movies, calls, or games at late hours in the night so your neighbors can get some restful sleep.
Clean As You Go
Clean after using anything in the condo and throw trash in the right place. Be considerate of the other people using common areas, condo facilities, and amenities, like wiping off and returning gym equipment, and cleaning after your pet at the park.
Observe Proper Air Circulation when Cooking
If you are cooking something that is not pleasant to smell like fish or pungent garlic and other types of food, do it moderately and not an everyday occurrence. Make sure there is enough air circulating around the condo or you have an exhaust, so it does not spread and seep into your neighbor’s homes.
Don’t Smoke in Areas that Do Not Allow It
Be considerate around the condo because not everyone can tolerate or be near the smell of a cigarette or a vape, as they may have health concerns. Smoke only in an area where the condo lets you smoke so that it won’t pollute the other areas, and make sure you toss waste in the bin.
