As we already know that in the coming months we would be seeing the Galaxy Note 7, from the Korean titan Samsung. Yet another flagship device of the company is also expected to release in coming March. This new phone will come with a display resolution of 5.5-inch 4K.
Till now most of the specs of the upcoming phone are not confirmed, however, as far as its release date is concerned, it is expected to be March 2017 based on schedules used by its forerunners.
In this regard, Fabnewz reported that the launch period of the last 4 Galaxy S variants was between March and April, so same is expected for the next Galaxy S phone. The report also revealed some expected features of Galaxy S8. The security would be improved by making use of a much more efficient eye scanning technology, as is the case for Note 7. With this technology, the user’s retina information would take minimal time to register.
Similar to most of today’s smartphones, S8 will also adapt the feature of rapid charging, so in just 20 minutes the users will be able to fully charge their phone.
As far as display of the device is concerned, a 5.5-inch 4K UHD will be used. Korea Herald reported that in a display trade show in California, the Galaxy S8 showcased a 5.5-inch UHD 4K display with a pixel density of 806 ppi (pixel per inch).
The upcoming device is still several months away from its launch. So it’s is hoped that the company may make some major modifications to the device with features like VR technology etc.
