World’s leading smartphone making company, Samsung, is going to roll out its next Tizen mobile – the Z2 on Tuesday. The Korean company is expected to launch the new smartphone in India.
To Samsung, Tizen is a home grown operating system. The company released the Tizen-based Samsung Z1 smartphone to the Indian market in January last year. Moreover, it also uses this OS on its wearables.
Specifications of the Z2:
The upcoming Z2 is also expected to be a budget phone like its predecessor, Z1. According to some reports, the next Tizen smartphone will feature a 1.5GHz quad-core processor alongside 1GB of RAM. The expandable storage is of 8GB. The phone will probably feature a 3.97-inch display of WVGA resolution. The selfie camera would be of 0.3MP and the primary camera would be 5MP. It will be using a 1,500 mAh battery. Tizen 2.4 will be the operating system used.
Moreover, SamMobile, a community for Samsung fans, has posted a video which reveals that Z2 will have support for 4G technology. And specifically for its Indian customers, it will also feature Ultra Data Saving Mode, My Money Transfer app besides some other functionalities. The users will also be capable of adjusting device’s flashlight intensity, according to the video.
Earlier in India, the company released the Z3 smartphone at the price of 8,490 Indian Rupees. The Z3 phone uses Tizen 2.4 OS and features a HD screen of 5-inches. The phone uses a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum CPU, 1GB of RAM and comes with a built-in storage of 8GB which can be expanded to 128GB by using microSD cards. A 2,600mAh battery is utilized by the phone. The phone features a selfie camera of 5MP whereas the primary camera is 8MP. Moreover, the Z3 also provides selfie-enhancing features including Automatic Selfie and Beauty Face Mode.
