Micromax releases Alpha series laptops having Core i3 CPU and 6GB of RAM

Micromax, the Indian consumer electronics company headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, has recently announced its new Alpha series laptops. These laptops will be much powerful than Canvas Lapbooks and will be running the Windows OS.
This Alpha series is the first proper laptop released by Micromax and multi-taskers can efficiently make use of this laptop. The laptops will be having HP display of 15.6-inch and internal storage of 500GB. They also feature expandable storage up to 1 Terabytes. For high speed performance the laptop will be featuring Intel Core i3-5005U processor along with primary memory of 6 GB. Although it uses a 5th generation CPU but the DDR3L RAM of 6 Giga Bytes will be sufficient for providing good performance.
Moreover, the new laptop weighs about 2.1kg only so it will be handy to carry along. Further, this Alpha series notebook from Micromax comes with a 4-cell battery with a life of about 4.45 hours.
Now some about connectivity services of the laptop. The Alpha series LI351568W laptop features a low energy mode Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. It comes with two USB 2.0, two USB 3.0 and one HDMI port. It also offers 1 Ethernet jack, 1 Microphone Jack, 1 RJ45 and 1 Headphone. And for audio playback dual speakers are provided. However, the notebook does not have an optical drive.
As far as the operating system is concerned, it will be running 64-bit version of Windows 10. The device will be Flipkart exclusive and will be sold to the public at a reasonable price of 26,990 Indian rupees. A warranty of one year is offered by the company for the Alpha series laptops.
The world’s 5th largest smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has also announced its entry in the consumer PC business. It recently launched two PCs running Windows 10. While, in India, Micromax is already competing iBall and RDP companies in the budget PC business.
