We all have been familiar with Android 6.0 for long now. As far as the next version of the Android operating system is concerned, it is recently rolled out for smartphones and android wears. Google corp. released the new version i.e. Android 7.0 (codenamed Nougat) a little ahead of the scheduled time. The first developer preview was released by the company exactly two months ahead of I/O conference. Thus the developers and lovers of android may have an opportunity to grab it. In the month of June, the company officially announced that the name of the next Android version is Nougat.
The latest Android OS will be available to Nexus users from Monday, provided a mobile carrier and a major Android OEM. So in this regard, starting from this Monday, Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X will be getting the final Android 7.0 build, reports Telus, the Canadian mobile operator.
However, LG electronics has declared in a document officially that from Monday, Nougat will be released to Korean G5 units. As LG and Huawei have decided the same day for releasing Android 7.0 to their devices, it also seems that Google will officially start seeding Android N in the meantime. In that case, Android N leading products may also be launched by the same day. Nevertheless, the final date of release is yet to be decided by Google.
Furthermore, the latest build of Android OS i.e. Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to be available for many smartphones viz. Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, General Mobile 4G Android One and Pixel C devices. We will be seeing a number of improvements like multi-window support, enhanced notifications, revamped doze, number blocking and many other tweaks in the upcoming Android N release.
